Brazilian Review of Econometrics

The scientific journal of the Brazilian Econometric Society.

Published since 1981, the Brazilian Review of Econometrics (BRE) is SBE's scientific journal for original research in economics. The journal accepts submissions from researchers at Brazilian and international institutions, whether or not they are SBE members, and follows a peer-review process supported by its editorial board and specialist referees.

Since 2000, the BRE has published its articles exclusively in English, widening the international reach of economic research produced in Brazil and strengthening dialogue with the global academic community.

All of the journal's articles, including its historical archive, carry a DOI. The BRE is also indexed in research databases and platforms such as International Scientific Indexing.

Alongside its regular issues, the journal may publish special issues devoted to topics of relevance to the contemporary economic research agenda.
