Registration for the 48th EBE
The 48th SBE Meeting takes place from 15 to 18 December 2026 at the Recanto Cataratas Thermas Resort & Convention, in Foz do Iguaçu/PR.
What SBE covers
- 01
Accommodation for students with accepted papers
Students duly enrolled in graduate programmes in Economics or related fields, with accepted papers, have their accommodation covered by SBE.

Shared rooms
Students are accommodated in double or triple rooms shared with other students — check-in on 15/12 and check-out on 18/12/2026.
- 03
Meals for presenters only
Lunch vouchers for 16, 17 and 18/12 are provided exclusively to presenters of accepted papers.
SBE supports the next generation of economists
SBE will offer a travel grant of R$ 700.00 (seven hundred reais) to undergraduate, master's and doctoral students. Conditions below:

Accepted paper
The paper must be authored or co-authored by the applicant and accepted at the 48th EBE.

Send proof of enrolment
Email the SBE office (secretaria@sbe.org.br) with a document proving your affiliation with an educational institution.

Eligibility
The grant is exclusively for students living outside the Foz do Iguaçu metropolitan area who are not in formal employment.

Deadline: 30 September 2026
The grant application deadline is the same as the registration deadline for presenters, 30 September 2026.
